Welcome to the West Midlands I.H.S Branch

West Midlands I.H.S BranchThe Branch is one of a number of regional branches of the I.H.S. and was formed in the 1980s by a small group of  enthusiasts who wished to meet on a monthly basis for discussions, lectures, etc. 

The branch normally meets on the third Saturday evening of each month at sedgley scout hut, High Holborn, Sedgley, Dudley,behind the co.op car park, park on co.op car park. The doors are open from 7.00pm and the lecture commences at around 8pm.  Anyone with an interest in reptiles and amphibians is welcome to attend the monthly meetings - you do not have to be a member of the I.H.S.  A small entrance fee is charged to cover the cost of hiring the venue and paying the lecturer.  Contact the Organizer, Dave Lowe, via the contact page if you want more information.

Forthcoming Meeting

The June meeting will be held at the Sedgley Scout hut, on Saturday the 20th, the speaker is Roger Butler-Experiences with Mandarin Ratsnakes.

 

Dates for this years meetings are as follows:-

Saturday 9th January- Meeting cancalled due to weather. This was a change of week due to the room being booked up.
